Canada March wholesale sales most likely rose 0.9%: Statscan flash estimate

April 23 (Reuters) - Canadian wholesale trade most likely rose 0.9% in March from February, Statistics Canada said in a flash estimate on Friday. The increase was seen in the building materials and supplies, and food, beverage and tobacco subsectors.

The estimate was calculated based on a weighted response rate of 54.7%. The average final response rate for the survey over the past 12 months has been 86.7%, the agency said.
