Canada Post is investigating after someone poured their drink into a mailbox
Canada Post says they are investigating after a video surfaced online of a young woman or girl pouring her drink into a mailbox.
The video posted to Reddit shows the individual pouring her entire drink out into a Canada Post mailbox, and walking away.
“Canada Post takes the security of mail very seriously,” said a statement from the corporation’s media relations.
“We are aware of the situation and are currently investigating this incident,” they said, adding they can’t comment further at this time.
Canada Post did not comment on which city this occurred in.
Obstruction of mail under the Canada Post Corporation Act could be considered an indictable offence leading to up to five years in jail or a summary conviction which could result in a fine.
After being posted to the Instagram account 6ixbuzztv, the video has racked up more than 150,000 views.
Most people commenting on Instagram were not impressed with the girl’s behaviour.
