Canada's AG reveals government unclear if measures to combat homelessness helping

According to the latest auditor general report, it's unclear whether federal measures to address homelessness in Canada are helping. Auditor General Karen Hogan revealed on Tuesday that there's a gap in data collection, which she called "frustrating." She added, "Our audit showed that although five years have gone by since the launch of the federal government's national housing strategy, there is still no organization in the federal government taking lead on Canada's target to reduce chronic homelessness by 50 per cent by 2028."
