When your workplace is the House of Commons it isn’t hard for any “creepy weirdo” to track you down.

Michelle Rempel shares the proof. On Tuesday the Conservative MP was greeted by an anonymous letter, attacking her on her style choices.

“Did you wear a bra on Thursday?” the letter reads after misspelling Rempel’s name, twice. The politician retaliated by posting the evidence to Twitter, so all could share in her disgust.

And this isn’t the first of its kind. In a recent interview, Rempel reveals pigeon-hole pestering is a regular occurrence.

“I get loads of this sort of fan-mail all the time,” she said, “my policy is to not give it a platform, but sometimes it just gets under your skin.”

She goes on to share that her role has meant countless death and rape threats by mail. From what we can see, the incidents have been reported to police.
