Canadians react to explosive testimony from Jody Wilson-Raybould

On Feb 27., the former minister and attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould appeared before the House justice committee and gave testimony in regards to her own knowledge on the SNC-Lavalin affair. What she said shocked Canadians as she spoke for three hours, claiming that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and others pressured her 'inappropriately' to interfere in the criminal prosecution of engineering firm SNC-Lavalin. While Conservative leader Andrew Scheer called for Trudeau's resignation, and NDP leader Jagmeet Singh demanded a national inquiry, Canadians had their own strong reactions to the explosive testimony. Some agree with Scheer that Trudeau should resign, while others reject the idea of the Conservatives winning the election in the fall.
