Cardi B's Biggest Prize on Grammys Night? Her Daughter Saying 'Mama' for the First Time — Watch

And the award for most adorable mother-daughter moment goes to … Cardi B!

After picking up her first Grammy Award at 2019’s ceremony — in the best rap album category, for Invasion of Privacy — the musician and mother of one, 26, came home to perhaps an even bigger surprise.

In a video she shared late Sunday night of daughter Kulture Kiari in a walker, Cardi B can be seen getting emotional with her hand over her mouth after her daughter clearly says the word “mama.”

“After a week of only saying papa !She saying mama! Happy 7 months Kulture ! We love you,” the rapper captioned the clip, tagging husband Offset, sister Hennessy Carolina and the latter’s partner Michelle Melo.

Just two months after news that the pair called it quits amid a cheating scandal, reunited Cardi B and Offset put on quite the PDA spectacle on the Grammys red carpet.

Cardi B — dressed in a show-stopping pink and black Mugler design with an elaborate waistline and pearls wrapped around her neck and hair — and the Migos rapper, 27, posed for photographers at Los Angeles’ Staples Center before leaning in to share a lick.

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker later pulled her husband onstage as she accepted her award, thanking Kulture “because when I found I was pregnant, my album was not complete … we was like, ‘We have to get this album done so we can shoot these videos while I was still not showing,’ and it was very long nights.”

She also thanked Offset: “Nah, ’cause seriously he was like, ‘You gonna do this album, girl. We gonna have this baby and we gonna make this album.’ “

Offset and Cardi B

Late in the evening, Offset revealed the release date of his upcoming solo album and accompanying documentary, sharing a video montage of himself in the recording studio, FaceTiming with his son, performing onstage — and being in the room during the July 10 birth of Kulture.

In the latter clip, shown at the end of the montage, Offset stood behind Cardi B’s shoulders as she gave birth, looking concerned as his wife yelled out in pain and threw her head back.

Another angle showed him wearing a white hoodie while standing near the hospital room door, looking wide-eyed in shock before the camera zoomed in dramatically and the video revealed the release date: Feb. 22.

The 61st Grammy Awards, hosted by Alicia Keys, were broadcast live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS.
