Cardi B Just Filed to Divorce Her Husband, Offset, After Almost Three Years of Marriage
According to multiple reports, Cardi B has filed to divorce her husband, Offset.
Cardi and Offset share their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
Uh-oh, Cardi B and her husband, Offset, are now one of the many couples to go their separate ways during this cursed year. According to People, Us Weekly, TMZ, and The Blast, Cardi filed to divorce Offset and is asking for a “dissolution of marriage.” There aren’t many deets about what prompted this, but according to Us’s sources, “Offset and Cardi both continue to put [their daughter] Kulture first through this troubling time.” People also has a source claiming Offset was “unfaithful yet again,” although neither Cardi nor Offset have commented on or confirmed anything publicly.
Cardi and Offset admittedly have had their fair share of relationship bumps in the past. Back in 2018, Cardi announced on Instagram that she and Offset were going to divorce after one year of marriage following cheating rumors, saying she and Offset simply “grew out of love” with each other.

Two weeks after Cardi’s Instagram post, Offset surprised her onstage at the Rolling Loud Festival with a massive “Take Me Back Cardi” bouquet of flowers. Cardi later admitted that Offset cheated on her after they got back together, but they tried to work out their issues anyway. In her December 2019 interview with Vogue, Cardi confirmed the cheating rumors and explained why she chose to stay with him.
She said:
“When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me. But it’s real-life shit. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you’re depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you’re not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation. Then if you get back with them, it’s like, how could you? You let all of us down. People that be in marriages for years, when they say till death do us part, they not talking about little arguments like if you leave the fridge open.”
