Carol Shaw identified as Bruce Ave. homicide victim

Windsor Police have identified the victim of a homicide on Bruce Ave. last week as 49-year-old Carol Shaw.

Police started the investigation after a woman was found dead with trauma to her body at the First Place Apartments at 475 Bruce Ave. on Feb 23.

A 26-year-old Windsor man was also found in the apartment and was arrested.

Richard Scott Raymond is charged with first-degree murder and aggravated sexual assault.

Police are also looking for someone who may know something about the case.

This person was seen in an older silver four-door pickup truck prior to the homicide.
