Carrie Underwood Shared a Rare Photo of Baby Jacob Demolishing His Birthday Cake

• Carrie Underwood doesn't often share photos of her children—but she did exactly that this past week.

• The "Cry Pretty" singer posted a photo of her one-year-old son, Jacob, celebrating his first birthday.

We've always known that country singer Carrie Underwood is a superstar mom. After all, she's been raising her two young children while hosting the CMAs, performing her hit songs on some of the biggest stages in the world, and picking up awards left and right. Still, the 36-year-old has been relatively private about her kids since the birth of her second son last year.

That's why we were so excited to get a glimpse into her home life this past week. Over on Instagram, Carrie shared a series of sweet photos showing her one-year-old son, Jacob, thoroughly enjoying his birthday cake.

"Happy birthday, Jacob! How are you already 1 year old?" she captioned the funny photos, which show Jacob eating—no, destroying the small cake with icing-covered hands. "You are smiley, crazy, smart, soooo fast and into everything! And, apparently, you love cake!"

She went on to share some hopes and wishes for the baby boy's future. "I can’t wait to see your personality continue to shine! I have a good feeling you’re going to keep us all on our toes for years to come!"

The Grammy winner concluded by calling Jacob her "miracle baby," a nod to the struggles she experienced before getting pregnant. "I thank God for you each and every day," she wrote.

So, who's responsible for the gorgeous green cake that Carrie's son loved so much? That would be none other than Ivey Cake, a bakery in Brentwood, Tennessee. Carrie has called the Nashville suburb home for the last few years, so it makes sense that she'd choose this charming local bakery.

Here's hoping we get to see more of Carrie's adorable family in 2020. Happy birthday, Jacob!
