The country music superstar, who just released the Deluxe Edition of her album 'Denim & Rhinestones' and extended her Vegas residency into 2024, spoke to PEOPLE for One Last Thing
Carrie Underwood is nothing if not resourceful.
During her Las Vegas residency, Reflection, Underwood, 40, was preparing to perform when she experienced a wardrobe malfunction. "A zipper busted open right before I went onstage," she tells PEOPLE in this week's issue. "Luckily my dresser added a big bow, and no one knew the difference. Stage magic, people!"
The country music superstar, who just released the Deluxe Edition of her album Denim & Rhinestones and extended her Vegas residency at Resorts World into 2024, spoke to the magazine for One Last Thing:
Last time I felt fear My 8-year-old [Isaiah] copied something on TV and put a gum wrapper around a battery to heat it up. I said, “You’re going to blow yourself up,” which I’m sure came out of my mother’s mouth when I was a kid.
Last time I scored extra wife points My husband [former hockey pro Mike Fisher] and I understand the value of spending time with our friends. He loves hunting and fishing and holds down the fort when I have to work, so I always want him to get his “man time” in.
Last memorable fan encounter I got to play some shows with Guns N’ Roses in Canada, and there were fans waiting at the airport. I was sure they were waiting for them, but they were there for me.
Last time I had buyer’s remorse I ordered a chair online. It cost $50, and when it came, I discovered it was meant for a dollhouse. It literally fit into the palm of my hand.
