This Cat Can’t Stop Cuddling The Person Who Saved Him From Being Put Down

This is the adorable moment a cat who was just hours away from being put down thanked the person who saved his life.

The kitten, called Henry, was languishing on death row at an animal pound in New South Wales, Australia, and, with no home to go to, his time was nearly up.

However, a foster carer from Cat Rescue Newcastle stepped in to save the day - and Henry showed how grateful he was by kissing and cuddling up to his saviour.

The rescue centre said: “One of our dedicated foster carers (Adelle) rescued this gorgeous boy from the pound.

"He had a matter of hours before his time was up but we swooped in and did what we do best; saved a life.”

Adelle added: “When I arrived and safely parked at the meeting place for his foster carer I decided to let him roam (in the car) since he had had a very stressful morning and was meowing constantly in his cat carrier.”

After his rescue, it didn’t take long for Henry to find a loving home and he is now happy with his new family.
