Catherine Zeta-Jones calls this $35 product 'the only mascara for the Emmys'

Following last year's virtual production, the Emmy Awards were back in full swing last night in all their in-person glamour and glory.
Among the stars marking their triumphant return to the red carpet was 51-year-old "Prodigal Son" actress Catherine Zeta-Jones. Accompanying her husband Michael Douglas, 76, to the awards ceremony on Sunday, all eyes were on the Welsh beauty in her elegant thigh-baring gown.
Donning a wine-coloured strapless gown by designer Cristina Ottaviano and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz, the "earth-shatteringly gorgeous" actress finished off the look with her very own Casa Zeta-Jones mascara.
Calling it "the only mascara for the Emmys," on her Instagram story, the $35 beauty product is part of her recently-launched lifestyle and beauty brand, Casa Zeta-Jones.

"Everyone needs a go-to mascara," said Zeta-Jones. All you need is "one quick coat for every day, and [to] layer it up for extra glam."
Described as "smudge-proof" and "dramatic" by shoppers, the vegan and cruelty-free mascara has earned an average rating of 4.1-star rating on Amazon.
"Seriously, this does not smudge!" raves one reviewer, who said that it's the first brand that doesn't make them look "like a raccoon" by the end of the day; "I am super, super impressed."
The thinner formula means it "doesn't clump" and is "very buildable," writes another shopper. Plus, it "stays put all day."
Another shopper says their lashes look "longer and fuller," and that they will "definitely buy again."
Created in partnership with Wunder2, the Casa Zeta-Jones line includes eye pencils, lipsticks, and lip liners, in addition to the red carpet-approved mascara.
While reviews for the celeb-backed mascara largely lean positive, some Amazon shoppers note that while the Casa Zeta-Jones mascara is lengthening and buildable, it lacks the volume of other formulas, so it may not be ideal for those with sparser eyelashes. It "doesn't work for my particular lashes," writes one user.
