Celebrity Race Across the World introduces Jeff Brazier's son Freddy to TV career
Father and son duo Jeff Brazier and Freddy star on Celebrity Race Across the World
Jeff Brazier's son Freddy has stayed largely private – until now as he stars on Celebrity Race Across the World 2024 with his dad.
Already his older brother Bobby Brazier has followed their mum Jade Goody's footsteps into the TV world. Goody, who died aged 27 of cervical cancer, was a big name in the reality TV world as she made her name on Big Brother followed by her own shows and Celebrity Big Brother.
Late last year, the nation fell in love with Bobby watching him dance all the way to the Strictly Come Dancing final with pro dancer Dianne Buswell. The Strictly finalist has continued to carve a place in the limelight as he stars on BBC soap EastEnders. Also, he starred on Celebrity Gogglebox with his dad.
Introducing Freddy Brazier to TV career
Now, we get to see the real Freddy, 18, in front of the camera for the first time on Celebrity Race Across the World. The youngster took on Celebrity Race Across the World challenging route with his dad. Celebrity Race Across the World has a star-studded line-up including: Kelly Brook and her husband Jeremy Parisi, Scott Mills and his then fiancé Sam Vaughan, Ted Lasso's Kola Bokinni and his cousin Mary.
Jeff had been preparing to introduce his son to the celebrity world with their joint Christmas campaign for Natwest. The devoted dad said his youngest hadn't decided what he wanted to do in the future yet but he said there was "no massive rush" for him to have his whole life planned out just yet.

"He hasn't really got a clue at minute what he wants to do, but that's fine," Jeff told The Mirror. "I don't think there's a massive rush for him to work out what he's going to dedicate the rest of his life to, so this is just an opportunity that came up for him."
The presenter had great enthusiasm for his son after they worked together as he hailed his son as "loving and endearing". He told the newspaper: "Freddy is an absolute professional."
Jeff also explained how his son was an asset on the set, saying: "Freddy always takes it upon himself to look after everyone else naturally. So I think he really showed his gifts on the day we filmed this important video, that is going to help stimulate people to have conversations about scamming around Christmas time."
Famous family
Freddy seems to have had a change of heart about doing reality TV, with his dad saying previously he didn't think his youngest wanted to do reality TV. Jeff had said there was "no pressure" for his youngest to make a career in the limelight after his family. Most importantly, the Shipwrecked star said his son would "forge his own path" and he praised his son's emotional intelligence.
In October, Jeff told The Metro: "Freddie has spent his whole life looking at his older brother and that is difficult for most siblings. No, I don’t think Freddie wants to do reality programmes and he hasn’t been inspired to do what his brother has done because whenever Bobby has done something, whether it’s karate or football, Freddie’s been like "I’m not doing that," because it’s something that he doesn’t have to measure up to his brother or against him."
He added: "All I’m describing is something that happens in most families, Freddie wants to forge his own path, his qualities are immense in terms of his emotional intelligence. So I’m really excited for his future, but there’s no pressure on Freddie to follow in anyone’s footsteps whether that be Bobby mine or his mum."
