Chained teen case suspect arrested in Ontario

One of two Nova Scotia men accused of forcibly confining and sexually assaulting a teenage boy has been arrested in northwestern Ontario.

Ontario Provincial Police said David James Leblanc was arrested Monday morning when officers responded to reports of a man in distress near Longlac, 260 kilometres northeast of Thunder Bay.

A second suspect, William Cunningham, is still at large.

Police say the two men held a 16-year-old boy in a Nova Scotia home for about two weeks.

The teen had been chained but managed to escape and seek help from a neighbour.
