Channing Tatum claps back at trolls in support of Jessie J on Instagram
It turns out Channing Tatum and Jessie J are back together again and, honestly, we can't keep up. While we're overjoyed, some of Channing's followers have not taken well to the news, forcing him to speak out on social media.
News of the couple's split came just over a month ago in December 2019, when a source revealed that they had "different priorities" and were "still really close and still good friends."
However, it seems that the pair are definitely back on, with Channing sharing an adorable selfie with Jessie on Instagram. Plus, they even walked the red carpet together at the MusiCares Person of the Year awards in LA last night so, yep, just about as official as you can get.
While Channing and Jessie seem really happy, not all of Channing's Insta followers feel the same. Responding to a selfie of Channing and Jessie, one fan commented, "Jenna looks better with you," referring to Channing's ex Jenna Dewan.
Comments have now been removed from the post, but a screenshot posted by the Instagram account CommentsByCelebs reveals that Channing responded with a series of long comments. He reportedly said, "I don't usually address shit like this. But you seem as good of a terrible happy people hating thoughtless person as any of them. Why don't you seriously think about what you're doing? It's hurtful and I ain't about it."
Channing continued, writing, "If you can't not be a horrible hateful person on my page and support the infinite and untouchable beauty and woman that Jess is... please kindly get the TF out of here. No one wants you here. Especially me. And ain't no body more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess. And yeah that includes my ex."
He added, "Sorry about your opinion. But what I said is facts. Just facts. Ok bye be careful with your actions it's what you create for yourself."
Afterwards, Channing commented again to clarify that, "Jenna is beautiful and amazing in her own right. But no and I mean no is more beautiful or better than anyone else. Beauty isn't measurable. It's in the eye of the beholder."
He finished by saying, "So while all you infinitely beautiful people pour over these words and try and find shit to start wit. I'm gonna be enjoying my MF night with my gorgeous lady and cuddle up in her beautiful heart. Bye."
Jessie J also commented in support of Channing, writing simply, "My BABY! Horns OUT!"
While some fans think Channing's comments are slightly disproportionate to the offending comment in question, others love that he is standing up for Jessie.
Here's hoping they make it work this time.
