Charges dropped against man in MUHC fraud case

Charges against a man arrested in connection with the McGill University Health Centre superhospital fraud case have been dropped.

Jeremy Morris was presented as one of the principal holders of Bahamas-based Sierra Asset Management, a company that was alleged to have been a go-between for illegal transactions involving fixing the bid for the superhospital contract.

The charges were dropped today.

Six other people arrested in connection with the case still face charges.
