Charges laid in Apex in relation to cocaine trafficking

Iqaluit RCMP have executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) at a residence located in Apex.

Three men were arrested in connection with a cocaine trafficking investigation. Two have been charged, and one was released without process.

One man, 41, was also charged with possession for the purposes of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

A 37-year-old man was charged with possession of an illegal substance.

Both are scheduled to appear before the Nunavut Court of Justice on Feb. 5 in Iqaluit.
