I don't wear a ton of makeup, but one product I rarely leave home without is concealer. Blame it on my South Asian genetics or a general lack of sleep, but I've never been able to entirely banish the look of dark undereye circles.
When I learned that Charlotte Tilbury was releasing a new concealer to join their Beautiful Skin line, I knew I had to try it out. Since testing out the Beautiful Skin Foundation earlier this year, it's become my go-to complexion product when I want heavier coverage; if the concealer was half as good, I'd be sold.
So did the concealer live up to my expectations? Keep reading to find out.
Charlotte Tilbury’s new Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer is the perfect addition to any makeup look that delivers a flawless complexion. According to the brand, it "conceals imperfections, corrects discolouration, and brightens dark circles, for the appearance of lifted, beautiful-looking skin."
The concealer offers a buildable, medium-coverage finish that lasts for up to 16 hours of wear — making it a great choice for long days. It's also infused with hydrating, smoothing and illuminating skincare ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, vitamin C, and vegan collagen to improve the look of skin instantly.
Available in 30 shades, Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer be paired perfectly with Beautiful Skin Foundation or used as a spot concealer for a natural, “you but better” complexion.
It's been a couple of weeks since I first got my hands on the new Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Radiant Concealer, and I have to say that I love it just as much as the Beautiful Skin Foundation. The two pair perfectly together (I wore them to a recent wedding), but the concealer also works on its own to provide spot coverage as I did in the photos below.
The formula is lightweight and creamy, and I didn't experience any creasing throughout the day when I've worn it. The concealer visibly brightens my undereye area, and evens out the redness that I frequently get on my nose. While I'm not sure I'd go so far as saying that it delivers on its skincare-like claims, it does do a great job of evening out my complexion.
That said, those who prefer a full coverage formula might be underwhelmed by the Beautiful Skin Radiant concealer — I definitely found that I need two or more layers to cover the most stubborn dark circles. However, if you like the look of skin that still looks like skin, chances are you'll also be a fan of Charlotte Tilbury's newest addition.
What others are saying
Although the new concealer has only just launched, it's already earning rave reviews online.
In a recent video, TikTok beauty influencer Mikayla Nogueira shared that the Beautiful Skin Concealer "blends in like a dream," and left her skin looking "unbelievably good."
"This is a home run," she added.
Th concealer has also earned a 4.9-star rating from early customer reviews on the Charlotte Tilbury website.
"My dark circles were concealed and what I loved was that my skin looked smoother and lifted — which at 44 feels like a miracle. This concealer does exactly what it says on the tin and I’m loving it!" shared one reviewer.
"Lightweight and the perfect coverage, this concealer is everything you need in your make-up kit. No creasing, lasts all day and has the feel of skincare. 10/10 - would 100% recommend," shared another.
As one reviewer cautions, this concealer may not work for all skin types as it "has great staying power but the consistency is more suited to under eyes or drier skin."
"I prefer a matte effect for other areas and the concealer slides on my combination/oily skin," they added.
Charlotte Tilbury's newest concealer may have just launched, but it's already winning over beauty enthusiasts with its lightweight and brightening effect. I was also impressed by its natural-looking finish, and long lasting wear.
The only downside for me is that it doesn't provide as heavy coverage as some other concealers that I've tried, and while it works on my dry to normal skin, it may not be the best for those with oily or combination skin.
