CHARLOTTETOWN — Police in Charlottetown have identified 25-year-old Nathan Burke as the person found dead in a home in the city Saturday.

Police say they are treating the case as a suspicious death.

In a statement released today, police extend sympathy to Burke's family and say investigators will work to determine the circumstances surrounding the death "and also who may be responsible."

They say an autopsy is being performed and they await the results.

Investigators say it will take days or weeks to complete other forensic testing, and they are following up on all tips and information from the public.

Police were called to the home at around 4 p.m. Saturday and remained on the scene on St. Peters Road through the weekend.
