Charlottetown Police saying little about suspicious death reported Saturday

CHARLOTTETOWN — Police in Charlottetown say the investigation continues into a suspicious death reported Saturday evening, but they are remaining tight-lipped about the incident.

They have released very few details about the incident at a home on St. Peter's Road.

In a two-line statement posted on the Charlottetown Police Services website Sunday, they say they will provide an update Monday afternoon.

The statement says there's nothing to indicate there's any risk to the public at this time.

There was a heavy police presence outside the house on Saturday night.

Plastic sheeting covered some of the home's windows, but neighbours say that damage occurred a couple of weeks before Saturday's incident.
