Police in Chatham-Kent are seeking two suspects in a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening.

The police service says two people were sent to hospital after sustaining gunshot wounds around 6 p.m. on Harvey Street in Chatham.

A dog was also shot and killed.

Police say they have grounds to arrest a 19-year-old man, Terry St. Hill.

"Through investigation, police believe the suspect may have ties to other communities outside of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent," police said.

On Thursday evening, police said that through an investigation they have identified another suspect, Rylie Dejonge-Vandusen. Police said she is wanted for attempted murder and that they have grounds to arrest her.

In a news release, police said locals should not approach the suspect as she is considered "armed and dangerous."

Officers had also asked the public for their help in identifying another man who is also a suspect in the shooting. They have since identified the individual, but did not release his name.

The police service is asking anyone with information regarding Dejonge-Vandusen or St. Hill's whereabouts to call 911.
