Chelsea Handler had all the jokes — and outfits — for her hosting gig at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards.

At Sunday's awards show, the comedian and actress, 48, wore three different looks — and we're breaking down all of them, starting with her walk down the red carpet.

One-upping her ensemble from last year, the talk show personality wore a form-fitting bright yellow Alex Perry dress with illusion sleeves that turned into a cape. She accessorized with metallic heels and glittering jewels.

Once Handler hit the stage, she'd already switched things up in a kelly-green tube dress. It also featured a subtle side slit.

Midway through the show, Handler stepped out in her third look of the night to introduce Harrison Ford's Career Achievement Award: a black strapless number with a draped bodice and slit. She accessorized with simple hoop earrings. She wore a pair of pointy metallic heels to finish the look.

Tonight's show honored the most talked-about TV shows and films this past year, including Barbie, which led the pack in nominations, Poor Things, Oppenheimer, Killers of the Flower Moon and Wonka.

And as host for the second year in a row, Handler was ready to celebrate all of them. Speaking with Variety, she said: "I didn’t think I would want to host an awards show, but when they asked me [last year] I thought, 'It’s not the Globes, it’s not the Oscars, there’s a lot of latitude for fun and high vibes.' And that’s what I wanted to bring to the table — to make it a celebration and a fun night. I enjoyed it so much that when they asked me again, it was a no-brainer."

"Go big or go home" is often Handler's motto for the Critics Choice, especially when it comes to her wardrobe.

Last year she also pulled off three different looks, including hair switch-ups. Celebrity hairstylist, Adir Abergel — who did her hair again this year — handled the feat and brought PEOPLE inside the star's glam.

"Her trust level is immense," Abergel said of working with Handler, whom he's known for more than 10 years and considers family. "I came prepared with inspiration and we talked vibes. Then she let me do my thing. Once I have seen the clothes, I prep by creating Pinterest boards with style references that help bring the looks I envisioned for her to life."

Using his go-to Virtue hair products, Abergel was able to style Handler's hair so that they matched the three dresses she wore.

Before finding themselves into the thick of showtime, Abergel told PEOPLE that the vibes of the getting-ready process in Handler's hotel room were upbeat and included Bob Marley tunes.

"I love this human so much and being a part of her day was so special for me," Abergel shared.
