Chelsea have landed in Germany ahead of their Champions League last-16 second leg, with Willian the notable absentee in a depleted squad available to Frank Lampard.

The Brazilian, who is on the verge of joining London rivals Arsenal, remains sidelined after missing Chelsea's FA Cup final defeat to the Gunners just six days ago.

Elsewhere, Lampard will be without the attacking duo of Christian Pulisic and Pedro alongside club captain Cesar Azpilicueta, who is also unavailable.

Azpilicueta and Pulisic both limped off against Arsenal with hamstring injuries, while Pedro suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder. All three were assessed before the trip but were deemed unfit to play.

Furthermore, neither Jorginho nor Marcos Alonso are available due to their respective suspensions.

The good news for Chelsea is that N'Golo Kante has travelled to Munich after training at their Cobham base this morning. The Frenchman was an unused substitute in the FA Cup final defeat.

With a limited squad at his disposal, Lampard faces an uphill battle having lost the first leg 3-0 at Stamford Bridge now over five months ago.

The match which will likely bring an end to a largely successful first season charge for Lampard, who has been nominated for Premier League Manager of the Year.
