A Chicken Nuggets Festival Is Taking Place in London and Manchester This Summer
Chicken nuggets don't get the love they deserve. While everybody's out there raving about french fries or pizza, chicken nuggets have been quietly doing their jobs for years, filling stomachs and delighting taste buds with every bite-sized piece. Fortunately, it looks like there are people who get it — enough people, in fact, to fill not one but two chicken nugget festivals in the U.K. this summer, Metro reports.
The Fried Chicken Festival is set for August 11 in London, and the next is on September 22 in Manchester. Along with a showcase of chicken nuggets of all different varieties, the event will feature a chicken nugget-eating contest where competitors vie for the title of Nugget King and Nugget Queen. There will also be music from DJs and live bands, and we're really hoping it's chicken nugget-themed. We're also hoping there'll be as impressive a variety of dips as there are nuggets.

But if you can't make it, rest assured that this won't be the end of it: Rumor has it more dates will be announced. Let's hope it'll spread all around the world before long so that chicken nugget lovers everywhere can unite.
