Chiefs arrive for game in Jacksonville looking stylish in warm-weather fashion

The Chiefs arrived Friday in Florida ready to play their first preseason game of 2024.

When it came to the player’s fashion choices, there were in midseason form. That is to say, they looked sharp.

Fashion, like many things in life is subjective, but running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire arguably had the best shirt on the team.

This Clydrogen tee is sweet.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes donned a team polo, which are available in the team store for a little more than $40.

The Chiefs shared a group of photos on Instagram and a few things stand out.

  • Running back Isiah Pacheco was wearing a T-shirt from when the Chiefs played in Frankfurt, Germany, a year ago.

  • Rookie tight end Jared Wiley showed his stylish side and will fit in well with the Chiefs.

  • Wide receiver “Hollywood” Brown had a shirt that was perfect for warm weather.

  • Receiver Nikko Remiggio wore a Lanvin T-shirt.

  • Rookie linebacker Curtis Jacobs’ shirt read, “If You Don’t Like Us Beat Us.”

  • Linebacker Drue Tranquill donned a nice Cuban shirt.

Take a look.

And then there is the ever-stylish Travis Kelce.

The Style By Kelce account said he was wearing Perte D’ego Patchwork Shirt, which costs $109.

The Perte D’ego website has this description of the shirt: “This unique, eye-catching patchwork shirt is sure to make a statement! Printed with wild and colorful patterns, your look will stand out no matter what you pair it with.

“Cuban collar, vintage style shirt with one-of-a-kind all-over print.”

The shirt-maker noted each one is handmade and has mother of pearl buttons. It can take up to 25 business days to process each order, the company said.

Style By Kelce said in an X post that he also wore: “Nike Craft x Tom Sachs Mars Yard 2.0 Sneakers ($N/A), Louis Vuitton Keepall Bag Damier Azur ($N/A), Wacko Maria ‘Superbad’ Cap ($115/sold out), and Bottega Veneta BV1012s ($440).“
