NFL Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez has nothing but love for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce!

On The Kelly Clarkson Show Thursday, the former Kansas City Chiefs tight end revealed that he is on board with the “new audience” Swift has brought to the NFL — and that he recently congratulated Kelce on his latest on-the-field achievement.

“Did he just break your record?” the host asked Gonzalez, 47, before the show’s other guest, Jennifer Garner, hilariously tried to intercept the question.

“Do you have to be bringing that up?” Garner, 51, joked.

Last Sunday, Kelce set a new NFL record for reaching 11,000 receiving yards in the fewest number of games (154) as a tight end, according to NFL.com, surpassing Gonzalez who had previously held the record.

Earlier this month, when Kelce broke another franchise record — for most receiving yards ever by a Chiefs player — Gonzalez tipped his hat on X, writing: “Congrats and well earned my friend! Keep it going.”

“He’s such a good dude and the whole Taylor Swift thing now,” the father of four said on the talk show Thursday, before jumping into a story about how men and sometimes women come up to talk with him in public. However, Gonzalez noted that he was recently recognized at the airport by a new type of fan.

“I was like, ‘Oh, how cool, I’m getting so popular that a 10-year-old girl [wants to talk to me],'” Gonzalez shared, laughing. “She goes, ‘Hi, Is your name Tony? Do you know Travis Kelce?’”

He added, “But I think it’s great that Taylor’s done this for the NFL, she’s brought a whole new audience, it’s been great.”

Gonzalez, who played in the NFL for 17 seasons (12 for the Chiefs and five for the Atlanta Falcons) before retiring in 2013, still holds the NFL record for overall yards (15,127) by a tight end.
