Chihuahua Completely Fascinated With Barking Toy Puppy

There is a reason why the proverb says that curiosity killed the cat and it doesn’t say that it killed the dog. Cats are very fond of finding out everything there is to know about the space they live in, while dogs are just happy to have food and a comfortable space to lay their head to sleep at night, but what happens when someone enters their turf and stakes their claim? It is the place we would like to curl ourselves in a ball in and just lay until the end of time, or at least until our problems or the bad weather pass us by. Dogs are very much like us in that manner. Our loving pets, too, have a comfortable nest where they love to sit and wait for us to show them some love. We might give them the most comfortable dog beds or even let them sleep on down feathers, but they would still climb on our beds or sleep on the cat bed when we turn our attention to something else. However, if there is one place in a dog home that is their favorite, then it’s in their owner’s embrace. They are creatures of habit which means that they find comfort in the things they already know and are aware of so it comes as no surprise that they might get a bit precautious of any new intruders in the vicinity. Take a look at this footage of a tiny Chihuahua called Poppy meeting the newest member of the family for the first time. Poppy is very apprehensive of the newest addition so she takes baby steps when approaching it. What she doesn’t realize, though, is that the tiny critter barking up the place is nothing more than a plush toy her owner bought for Poppy to play with. She tries in vain to get any reaction out of it, but it only manages to give her the automated bark every time her owner presses on its belly. To make matters worse, the lady decides to pretend that the plush toy is her new favorite pet and cuddles with it. Poppy doesn’t seem to like this new turn of events so she tries to get her owner to cuddle with her too. Seriously, how precious is that?! Some might say that dogs are very easy to please, a little scratch behind the ears, a bit of a smooch and that’s it, they’d be happy for lifetimes to come.
