Little boy dies after fall from 17th floor window of Toronto building
A young boy has died after plummeting from the window of a 17th-floor apartment at a northwest Toronto residential building on Sunday afternoon.
The three-year-old child fell from a building located at 3 Hickory Tree Rd., in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area.
Emergency responders were called to the scene at about 2 p.m. ET.
Toronto police, who said that CPR was performed on the boy, are investigating the incident.
A spokesperson for Toronto paramedics said the child was in "grave condition" when he was brought to hospital.
Police later reported that the child succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
