Child sex abuse videos found on Winnipeg man's computer during repair

A 20-year-old man is facing charges after child sexual abuse videos were found on his computer by a technician doing repairs.

The man took his laptop to a computer repair business on Century Street in Winnipeg back on July 7. While the technician was running a restoration on the computer, the videos were found, police said.

Members of the Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit were called and further investigation of the laptop revealed numerous videos of girls between the ages of three and seven engaged in sexual abusive acts, police said.

The man was arrested Thursday morning.
