A man shot dead by police after reports of a person with a rifle forced several schools into lockdown in Toronto Thursday in fact had a pellet gun, Ontario's police watchdog says. Premiers in Saskatchewan and Alberta say the federal government is ignoring their calls for a sit down meeting to discuss an increase to Canada's Health Transfer. Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe says he's shocked by the lack of response.
