Chris Evans flips tuk-tuk at CarFest festival, injuring two people
Chris Evans flipped over a tuk-tuk at his own festival in Hampshire, leaving two passengers with minor injuries.
The radio presenter is the creator of CarFest, which took place from Friday to Sunday and helps raise funds for UK children's charities.
The festival's organisers said Evans, 57, was driving the three-wheeled vehicle on Saturday morning when it "overturned on the track as Chris changed direction".
"The two passengers on board had minor injuries and the CarFest on-site medical team attended to support," the organisers added in a statement.
This year's CarFest line-up consisted of musical artists, stars, chefs and wellness experts including comedian Rob Brydon, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, pop band McFly and Strictly Come Dancing judge Anton Du Beke.
CarFest celebrated its 10-year anniversary in 2021 and claims to have raised more than £20m for children's charities over the past decade.
Evans recently revealed he has been diagnosed with skin cancer on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show.
He told his radio listeners it had been "caught so early... that it should be completely treatable".
Evans said he will be treated for the condition on 14 September.
