Chris Harrison's appearance on ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’ following ‘Bachelor’ fallout riles fans

“The Bachelor” host Chris Harrison appeared on “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune,” Thursday, just twelve days after stepping away from the franchise over racially insensitive comments he made in an interview. And while the show attempted to remind viewers that the episode was previously recorded in December of 2020, many thought it was strange that he would appear on the network so soon after his departure.

Several viewers were shocked by his appearance, like this person who tweeted, “Chris Harrison winning at Celebrity Wheel of Fortune makes me ill.”

Even though Harrison was the last person some viewers wanted to see, he did raise much needed money for the charity Feeding America.

KYLIE MAR: "The Bachelor" host Harrison appeared on "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune" Thursday just 12 days after stepping away from the franchise over racially, insensitive comments he made in an interview. And while the show attempted to remind viewers that the episode was previously recorded in December of 2020, many viewers thought it was strange that he would appear on the network so soon after his departure. And he didn't just appear. He dominated.

CHRIS HARRISON: I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it.

PAT SAJAK: Yes, it's been all Chris so far. He's gotten both toss ups in the first run.

CHRIS HARRISON: I love this game.

PAT SAJAK: $13,100. I'm just worried he's going to end up hosting this.

KYLIE MAR: Several viewers were shocked by his appearance like this person who tweeted, Chris Harrison winning a Celebrity Wheel of Fortune makes me ill. And they weren't alone as celebrity contestant Robert Herjavec and Alfonso Ribeiro were also sick of seeing Harrison win.

CHRIS HARRISON: I would like to solve it.

ROBERT HERJAVEC: Oh, please. Really?

ROBERT HERJAVEC: Do you think you have it.

ALFONSO RIBEIRO: I mean, this feels--

CHRIS HARRISON: This does not feel like a safe place, Pat.

PAT SAJAK: Go ahead.

KYLIE MAR: Even though Harrison was the last person some viewers wanted to see, he did raise much needed money for Feeding America.

PAT SAJAK: Chris, let's see. You won $10,000 in this half of the show, $52,650 earlier. You add it all up, you are giving to the great folks at Feeding America $62,650.

CHRIS HARRISON: That's awesome. That's awesome.
