Chrissy Teigen Reveals Majorly Swollen Lips Due to Altitude Sickness

Chrissy Teigen regularly shares the intimate details of her life on social media and this weekend that included a dramatic health issue.

In a series of tweets Teigen revealed, "very upset and saddened that my own birth state, Utah, has chosen to poison me with terrible altitude sickness."

The model and social media star also posted a pretty graphic photo of her swollen lip and wrote, "did u know angioedema can be triggered from altitude sickness? learn something new every day! my lip about to explode. goodbye world."

Teigen wrote, "It’s so big it’s shiny and hard like glass," explaining just how uncomfortable the condition was. And she took to her Instagram Stories to show how she covered up the swelling with makeup before she attended a wedding with celebrity hair stylist and OUAI creator, Jen Atkin.

Even though she was suffering from angioedema, Teigen somehow managed to pull off yet another flawless look, which her husband John Legend shared on Instagram. The singer wrote, "Wedding date! Congratulations to @lukecdillon and @meghan.mackenzie!!!"

Teigen just announced her collaboration with Quay Australia, which includes a range for blue light glasses for any fellow social media addicts and late night phone scroller.
