Christy Turlington’s Daughter Grace Burns Makes Her Milan Fashion Week Debut at Alberta Ferretti Show
Burns made her big debut on the same day her mom's docuseries 'The Super Models' landed on Apple TV+
Like mother, like daughter.
Grace Burns, the daughter of supermodel Christy Turlington and her husband, actor and director, Ed Burns, walked the runway at Milan Fashion Week on Wednesday.
While it's not the first time Burns has strutted a runway professionally, it is her first major designer show.
The 19-year-old sauntered down the runway for the Alberta Ferretti spring 2024 collection in a one-shoulder form-fitting dress that featured a floral print in muted tones of blush pink, mauve and soft green.

In the caption on her Instagram showing a video clip of her runway walk, Burns expressed her thanks to the designer, Alberta Ferretti, for putting her in the show, writing: “thank you thank you thank you for having me in your show…in a castleeeeee!!!!! So so so honored to be a part of this beautiful collection 🫶🫶🫶”
The show, which took place at Castello Sforzesco in Milan, featured the designer's signature draping techniques and subtle layered looks. The collection also featured ensembles of light-blue-and-white striped blouses and trousers and long guazey white dresses. The fashion house described the feel of the collection on Instagram as “a vision of lightness and movement; a definitive affirmation (of) femininity that is never static.”
Burns made her official runway debut in June at the British Vogue x LuisaViaRoma show in Florence, Italy. In the show, she wore a custom dress by Victoria Beckham.
She also appeared in a Carolina Herrera campaign with her mom, 54, earlier this year. “Indescribably grateful to have had the privilege and opportunity to be a part of this experience!" she wrote in a caption on her Instagram at the time. "All the love in the world to every single divine human who made this possible!!!!!!!! Tears of love and love and more love!!!! Xxxxxxx.”

Burns certainly has a lot of modeling know-how she can tap into. Her mom, who was discovered when she was 14, has had one of the most illustrious careers in the fashion world. She is a member of the original supermodel crew and rose to fame in the '90s along with Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer.
On the same day that Burns walked he Milan show, Apple TV+'s docuseries titled The Super Models, was released. The series features Turlington, along with Crawford, Evangelista and Campbell, all talking about their iconic careers. The "supers," as they are known, were also just featured on the cover of Vogue's September issue and in Vogue World: London earlier this month.
