Clouds, wind move into southern Manitoba with rain on the way

The bright sunshine of the past few days in Winnipeg has vanished under clouds.

Other than a few afternoon sunny breaks, Tuesday will mostly be a grey one. And a windy one, as well, with gusts hitting 40 km/h.

Rain is expected to arrive by late evening and continue overnight into Wednesday.

"Early indications are calling for about 10 millimetres through the Red River Valley by Wednesday morning, with slightly higher amounts to the west in Portage," says CBC meteorologist John Sauder.
