Clovis police are investigating a late-night shooting Saturday in the 700 block of West Shaw Avenue.

The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. near the Hook and Ladder Lounge during a disturbance in the parking lot, where the shots were fired, according to Clovis police Sgt. Jesus Santillan.

Officers found no victims, but located shell casings and blood within the crime scene.

Investigators are attempting to determine whether the blood was from a fight or from the shooting. They hoped to find video evidence from surveillance cameras to confirm how many people were involved, Santillan said.
