The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is searching for a missing 17-year-old who disappeared from her home in June. Officials said Tuesday she has medical needs and her family doesn’t know if she has access to her medication.

Lyuana Farrior was reported missing at 10:08 p.m. on June 16 after she left Clendon Court in Charlotte with an unknown person for an unknown destination, according to CMPD.

When she first went missing Farrior “was in contact with her family, but that has been limited for unknown reasons,” CMPD said in a news release Tuesday.

Farrior has brown eyes, black braids and is 5’3” and 250 pounds, CMPD said. Anyone with information about Farrior’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
