Coastal Mississippi Prepares for Hurricane Sally Impact

The slow-moving Hurricane Sally was on track to make landfall in Mississippi late Tuesday into Wednesday, packing a “life-threatening” storm surge and leading to evacuations in the state.

Pascagoula Police shared this video on Tuesday morning, September 15, showing flooding from Sally’s strong storm surge. The road was closed as storm surges were expected to reach three feet along the Mississippi coast.

Police reminded drivers not to go around barricades and to refrain from driving over live wires.
