Police have seized what they believe to be illegal drugs inside a home in Burin, and charged two people with drug possession.
The RCMP said Friday that a 29-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman are facing charges following a search on March 8.
Police say "quantities of what are believed to be cocaine and marijuana were seized" from the residence.
Both were charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of marijuana.
They appeared in court on Thursday, and are set to appear again in April.
Correction : A previous version of this story stated the man was charged with trafficking cocaine. In fact, both the man and the woman involved have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana. (Mar 10, 2017 8:41 PM)
