Coco Rocha goes platinum blond for an exciting new campaign

She may be one of fashion's greatest chameleons, but Coco Rocha has dyed her hair blond for the very first time – and she's loving her edgy new look! The 28-year-old swapped her trademark brunette tresses for a platinum 'do, which has quickly become an A-lister favourite this season.

It wasn't the only change that the mother-of-one made to her locks. Having opted for shoulder-length waves in recent months, Coco mastered the short hair trend and had inches chopped off her locks into a blunt bob which falls just below her jawline.

The Canadian beauty admitted that she has always considered undergoing a drastic makeover, particularly when it came to the colour of her hair, but that she was only recently inspired to make the change when she landed her first campaign for Balmain, and was convinced by the stylists.

She debuted the look for her first Balmain campaign

Taking to Instagram where she shared a first look at her striking campaign images for the French fashion house, she explained to her 1.1 million followers: "#BlondeAmbition – for the last 14 years modelling I've wanted to try blonde, but no one made it happen. "Until @NabilHarlow and @Balmain came along. It was worth the wait! #cocoxbalmainhaircouture."

Coco has been keeping a relatively low profile in recent months, no doubt to spend quality time with daughter Ioni. The model welcomed her bundle of joy in March last year with husband James Conran.

Coco also opted for a new bob hairstyle

That hasn't stopped the star from taking on other exciting career opportunities, including becoming a manager and co-owner of Nomad Management modelling agency in June earlier this year.

Coco revealed her exciting news on Instagram, alongside a black-and-white portrait emblazoned with the agency's logo. She shared her hope to "guide the agency as we adapt to the ever-changing face of fashion and technology", adding that she also planned to be a "mentor for all of our models, something I've done unofficially for many years now."
