Wyandotte Street near Crawford Avenue reopens after collision involving Transit Windsor bus

The intersection of Wyandotte Street and Crawford Avenue has reopened after a collision involving a Transit Windsor bus shut down traffic Friday afternoon.

The collision occurred about noon. The bus collided with a light pole and dislodged it. 

Garland Mills was in the area when the collision occurred. He said he heard a "gigantic bang" when the bus hit the pole.

He talked to the driver of the bus, who told him he was OK.

The intersection was closed while emergency crews cleared the scene.
