COLTON BROWN: I'm Colton. I was born and raised in New Jersey. My dad also did judo, and that's the reason I got into judo. I kind of didn't have a choice. He made me do judo. And then after high school I went to school, San Jose State University, which is also a national Training Center. I graduated from there, and that's where I did my preparation for the 2016 games.

When I heard that the Olympics were going to be in Tokyo, I was excited because that's kind of where my international Judo journey began. Just like Angie. Like, we began our journey in Tokyo. And you know, I kind of wanted to go out on a good note in Tokyo as well. You know I like competing in Japan, I like the culture, I like the food. I just like being in Japan. It's the birthplace of judo, and, you know this is I think they're having enough to Budokan, which is where the first games are held. So you know, it's kind of-- it's special, it's a special place to have it, and there's a lot of history behind it. So I think any athlete, any judo athlete, all of us on this call are honored to be able to compete there.
