A Complete Guide to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix Shows
Five years ago, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle signed a reported $100 million deal with Netflix. âOur focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,â the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said in a statement at the time.
They still have numerous projects in development including a prequel to Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and an adaptation of Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune. (See a full guide here.) In the years since signing the Netflix deal, Harry and Meghan have released four shows.
âThe documentary we did on them is still one of our most-watched documentaries of all time on Netflix and huge, particularly in the UK, where people just devour everything about them,â Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos said. âThey're controversial, but that's usually a good thing. You may love them or hate them, but you're watching. And I do think that they are also going to be very strong storytellers, with great exposure to media in terms of what people want to talk about, what they think about, and they're great at getting attention.â
Ahead of Meghan's lifestyle show With Love, Meghan premiering this week, a guide to all of their Netflix shows currently streaming:
Harry & Meghan
Premiered December 2022
The first project the Sussexes released was a six episode docuseries about their relationship and decision to step down from the royal family.
âSo much of how my husband and I see things is through our love story,â Meghan said of the docuseries. âI think thatâs what people around the world connected to, especially with our wedding. People love love. Iâm not excluded in that sentiment. And our definition of love is really expansive: Partner love, self-love, the love of community and family. We use that as the baseline of the kind of shows and documentaries we want out there.â
Of the series, their rep said, âThey are choosing to share their story, on their terms.â
