Conservatives slam PM for 'conflating' China criticism with racism

Conservative foreign affairs critic Michael Chong says Justin Trudeau conflated criticism of China with anti-Asian racism in his response to questions over alleged ties between Chinese military researchers and former employees at a high-security infectious disease laboratory in Winnipeg. The prime minister said Wednesday during question period that Canada “will not give in to pandering to anti-Asian racism.”
