Windsor police say they're investigating a second incident of gun shots being fired in an east Windsor neighbourhood on the same day.

The first was reported Thursday morning on Monticello Street. Multiple bullet holes were found on the exterior of a home — and that a white cube van had been intentionally set on fire nearby. No one was hurt.

Authorities also say a second report of shots being fired occurred that same night around 9 p.m. — also on Monticello Street. And once again there was no report of any injuries.

"Witness statements and video surveillance footage have indicated that a second shooting had transpired, however, no physical evidence of the shooting has been located," Windsor police said in a statement.

Investigators continue to appeal to residents to check their video surveillance or dashcam footage for evidence in both incidents.

There's also no indication if the two could be related.
