Coronation Street to air Leanne and Toyah aftermath after affair reveal
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Leanne Battersby will evaluate her relationships next week, as Coronation Street airs the aftermath of Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby's affair.
Wednesday's (September 4) episode saw Leanne uncover the affair after finding Rowan's secret file on the pair.
While deleting the computer files containing intimate interviews with members of The Institute, Leanne stumbled across pictures of Nick and Toyah kissing. Horrified by the betrayal, she confronted her partner Nick in front of his whole family.

Nick told Leanne that her involvement with The Institute had created a distance between them, and admitted he was in love with her sister Toyah.
After the couple's argument, Toyah tried to explain the situation to Leanne. Slapping Toyah across the face, furious Leanne cut ties with her sister and ordered her to stay away.
However, in scenes that will air next week, Nick's son Sam takes matters into his own hands as he urges the sisters to reconcile.
With tensions rising at breakfast, Sam tries to patch things up between Toyah and Leanne. He advises them to forget Nick ever existed and reminds them of their sisterly bond.

Later, Nick arrives at the flat to talk about Rowan. But will Leanne hear him out?
Next week's episodes will also see Nick taking a stand against the cult leader. With their secret already out, he tells Toyah he's going to report Rowan's blackmailing to the police.
Elsewhere, in an attempt to bring down the villain, Leanne reveals she emailed herself the files on Rowan's computer. Could the mounting evidence help Amy get her money back?
