Carla was particularly concerned after remembering that she saw Max and Lauren putting a red suitcase into a car, and David told her they were headed to the hospital as Frankie was getting discharged today.
New suspect Lisa was released from prison, and when she expressed concern that she was being framed for murder, Carla decided to go to the hospital herself.
As Max and Lauren looked forward to their future with Frankie, Carla confronted them about the suitcase – convinced that they wouldn't plan to flee Weatherfield without taking the baby with them.
