Coronation Street has unveiled details of Yasmeen Metcalfe's return storyline.
Viewers will know that Yasmeen recently took a trip to Pakistan for her 70th birthday alongside her grandson Zeedan.
As a result, she has been out of the loop regarding the drama around partner Stu and his granddaughter Eliza, who has decided to move out and live with her father Dom.
In new scenes set to air on the soap, Yasmeen arrives back on the cobbles, and is left shocked when she learns from Stu that Dom tried to demand cash to give up custody of Eliza.
Dom and Eliza later turn up at No 6, though Dom refuses to let his daughter stay for tea and orders her to get the rest of her belongings.
However, Yasmeen tells Stu that Eliza will be back once the novelty of living with her father has worn off, and that they can only wait and be with her when she does decide to return.
Stu meets up with a PI called Lesley later in the week, telling her to dig up some dirt on Dom.
Will he regret this decision?
In other Coronation Street news, Paul Foreman actor Peter Ash has opened up about filming his character's skinny dipping scene with Billy Mayhew.
"It was a beautiful day. The water was great. It got a bit cold towards the end. I started shivering a bit towards the end," he told Digital Spy and other media.
"But yeah, the response was amazing. I mean, the response since the beginning from people has just been overwhelming, honestly. The way people have responded to Paul's story, it's been something really special, and we're all very happy and thank everyone for the positive feedback."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
