Coronation Street's Carla to receive police plea over Stephen
Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street's Carla Barlow faces a difficult request from the police next week as she desperately tries to bring Stephen Reid to justice.
Carla is determined to see Stephen punished after realising that he was responsible for her illness earlier this year.
As we've previously revealed, this week's episodes see Carla receive some long-awaited drug test results, which confirm that she had LSD in her system.
This proves that Carla was struggling with the after-effects of LSD when she became unwell earlier this year. At the time, her loved ones mistakenly believed that she was struggling with psychosis again.

Carla figures out that Stephen was responsible for spiking her drinks and she wastes no time before confronting him. Stephen denies the allegations, knowing that Carla has no proof that he was responsible.
As the fallout continues next week, Carla speaks to DS Swain about the troubling situation.
Swain points out that Carla doesn't have any evidence, so there's nothing the Weatherfield Police can do at the moment.
Shortly afterwards, Carla finds a print-out showing one-way tickets to Thailand in the Underworld office.

With Stephen plotting a dramatic getaway following his crime spree, Carla tries to warn Swain that the villain is a flight risk.
Swain has her own suspicions over Stephen's link to the recent deaths in Weatherfield, but she doesn't want her investigation to be de-railed by Carla. She orders Carla to tell nobody else what's going on.
Ignoring this, Carla approaches Jenny Connor and reveals that the police are secretly investigating Stephen for even darker crimes.
Carla begs Jenny not to go to Thailand with Stephen as she could be running off with a murderer. Will Jenny listen?
