Coronation Street's Colson Smith shares hair transplant transformation
Coronation Street star Colson Smith has undergone a hair transplant, and has shared the results on Instagram.
The actor, best known for playing Craig Tinker on the ITV soap, posted a thumbs-up picture on his page following the procedure, admitting that he has been thinking about having a transplant for a few years now.
"Slighty different to my usual hairstyle… On Monday I had a hair transplant," Colson wrote. "A transplant has been on my agenda since I first noticed my hair loss at the age 22!

"Losing my hair at such a young age has been a tough thing for me to come to terms with, I instantly feel SOOO much better and more confident that I’ve taken a step to getting back my luscious strawberry blonde locks."
The star went on to explain that he met his surgeon last year, who helped him "understand" his hair loss as well as the future of his hair, adding: "I feel so lucky to now be on my hair journey with such a talented and friendly team based here in Manchester.
"No more comb overs and baseball caps. Here’s to a future of having a cracking head of hair!" Colson concluded.

Earlier this year, the actor took part in the relaunched series of Celebrity Big Brother, coming in third place.
Speaking about returning to Corrie straight after, he told Good Morning Britain after the series wrapped: "Literally straight out the house, slept in London, had the wrap party, into a car, script straight in front of me, ready to get back on the beat.
"But today I only have one line. So you know, I can't complain today, they are easing me back in Weatherfield. The line is, 'How old are you?'. It's taken me all weekend as well."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
